On Thursday the 12th of October children and befrienders from Fun in Action attended a private tea party organised by the singer Peter Andre at his New York Coffee Club in North Street Brighton.
The children had a great time with lots of lovely things to eat and drink and the opportunity to meet two of their heroes, Peter Andre and Pudsy bear!
In addition all the children were given Pudsy bear toys and key rings to take home as mementos of a lovely afternoon out.
The event was in support of BBC Children in Need who have generously funded the work of Fun in Action since we started 12 years ago.
Pictured at the event are Annie and Lily who had a great time and who are both befriended through the charity. Also shown is Anne McLaren our Project Manager pictured with Peter Andre.
Anne was fortunate to have a word with Peter and came away very impressed by his commitment to, and interest in, the welfare of needy children and his genuine desire to do what he can to help.
Thank you, Pete, and BBC Children in Need!
