PETER Andre has spoken for the first time about his new love interest.

Last week we revealed how Pete, 39, is dating 23-year-old medical student Emily MacDonagh.

And now the Aussie singer has admitted in his new! magazine column: “Emily’s a beautiful girl, we’ve been on a few dates, but we’re continuing to get to know each other.”

Peter was spotted out in London with the pretty brunette — 17 years his junior — last Tuesday.

He added: “Everyone assumed I’d taken her to the Magic Mike premiere, which was nearby, but we didn’t go to that.

“We just happened to be in the area as I was staying at the May Fair hotel while I was shooting my new TV show, Peter Andre’s Bad Boyfriend Club.

“We had dinner at a beautiful Thai restaurant just across from the hotel, so when all these paps suddenly appeared we were like, ‘whoa!’”

The pair met after Peter became pals with her father Ruaraidh, a urology consultant known as Ru, who performed emergency surgery on the star to remove kidney stones two years ago.

Pete has since become close with the family, and even travelled to Zanzibar with Emily and her dad in February to visit Ru’s charity.

At the time he said of Emily: “Emily’s an incredibly special person. She knows I think so highly of her.

“We’re going to be friends for life and do you know what else? She just happens to be a bit of a hottie as well.”

A spokeswoman for Peter — who has two kids with ex-wife Katie Price and treats her ten-year-old son Harvey as his own — said of their blossoming relationship: “Emily is a lovely girl and Pete thinks the world of her and her family.

“He is extremely cautious and it is early days.

“They are getting to know each other at the moment but get on tremendously well.”
